The Loose Parts Playground

In Summer 2020 East Lothian Play Association (ELPA) commisioned me to create a series of illustrations based on my observations of loose parts play in school playgrounds as part of ELPAs loose parts play project. The result is ten posters giving a window into the many complex, joyful, suprising and sometimes completely unsuprising ways that children respond to and play with loose parts in their school playground environment.
